Multiplexer – Triplexer
This triplexer utilizes three output ports which contain three different types of filters, lowpass, high pass, and bandpass. The three ports work simultaneously to maintain their respective specifications per filter type.
The uniqueness regarding this Triplexer is the desired performance of the three channel. Each channel represents a different filter type and each channel has unique specifications. Each channel maintains a high return loss of 20 dB across the passbands for each channel. The Insertion loss varies according to which channel is being measured, but channels 2 and 3 maintain an insertion loss less than 1 dBa while channel 1 maintains an insertion loss less than 0.5 dBa. The rejection specifications varies depending on the channel as well, certain ranges are 20 dBc whilst others are 40 dBc the overall performance of the filter reaches and meets the desired specifications.
As with all of our Filters here at Bree Engineering the design is custom and tailored to the specifications of our clients. We are always striving to do our best to design, build and tune filters of any type.
Please see the attached Filter Test Data for the performance of the filter.
